OK
We have 4 months or so until this kicks off- so lets get organized with an outfit.
I was thinking.. last time I went to this, everyone there was dressed as KNIGHTS- with a few (like 1-2) Sage-like looking folk.
I think it would be neat (and cheap) if we were to go as some type of Foreigners. Prince of Persia dress style.. or woodsman... or something.
I thought VIKINGS could be cool as hell, but then I remembered we're talking about myself, B4NTH4 and Dalqak here included.. and we would be the LEAST convincing Viking looking folk ever.
So.
Desert Folk would be cool.
"Wilders" could be neat...
group of elves maybe? (I know...)
If we want to do this right, I think it'd only cost about $100 a person for the costume- but we'd need to get moving NOWish.

I feel your pain. I would like to go; but money is tight right now. However for S&G's I looked up air fare from Wichita to Baltimore and it was just under $300 so not bad. As far as dress goes if I went I would not make a pretty elvin lad. I would be better off as a Viking or Barbarian type. |

I can definitely dig a body-paint "wilders" (ala Song of Ice and Fire) theme.
I'd like to steer clear of saying we're SCOTS or kilts or anythings.. just cuz.. well.. we're not all scots or transvestites.
