Not so Lee, I look damn good in my Renn Fair outfit !  Also, I think the Thieves Guild would be official. Just ordered ma' damn pants that I was missing and an awesome scabbard holder for the sword that I can't bring.  But I'll bring the empty scabbard anyway.  Liz and I will take some pics once everything arrives just to show you "our style". I still think we should print up some cloth with a bunch of Mookies on it so that we can wear them around our arms or something. |

I've got a duelists cape that is black on the outside and blood red on the inside. It's a half cape that you sling over one shoulder when you are ready to dish out some pain and don't want your damn cape in the way. Otherwise, I have a white ruffled shirt with black pantaloons and high leather boots. Pics of my outfit (and Liz's) will be forthcoming soon here. |

I sat down with my resident seamstress - my mother (don't judge) - tonight and figured out the costume on my end. This doublet (the one on the right) modified with a hood, the same breeches as in the pattern except longer, this undershirt, black high leather boots, and the arm band. I'm thinking red with a black mookie - though we could reverse that and do black with a red mookie. Of course the rest of the costume will follow the red and black color scheme if that's what we wish to follow. By the way Mike, my mom says 'thanks' for volunteering me lol. Could someone link that giant picture of mookie that was floating around a while back? That would be great to have for a pattern for the arm bands. |
